If you’re trying to lose weight then you need all the help you can get because it’s hard – particularly if you want to lose weight and then keep it off for good (who doesn’t?!).

If you haven’t done so already, review your regular shopping list and cut out all the snacks, sugary drinks and processed foods. There’s a simple fact of life that if you don’t have a food or drink in the house, then you can’t eat  or drink it, so get rid of it all!

If your other family members complain, then let them! Make a list of healthier options (for snacks – fruit and nuts; for drinks – tap or sparkling water!) and, when you go shopping, avoid the crisps, biscuit and processed food aisles completely.
